Barre - Recovery Time

Hi - I have been taking Barre classes for the last 6 weeks and I love them! However my recovery time between classes is at least 2-3 days - I am over 50 and am working hard to get back in shape. Does anyone have any tips on how to make the recovery time shorter?

I just went to my first barre fusion class yesterday. It was tough but feeling fine so far. Not sure what other exercises you do but I have heard that you don't exercise the same muscle groups again so it can rest and recover. So for me, I think I will go to my piyo today but mainly work on core and less calves and arms. For me, my recovery time gets better when I workout 30 min a day even if it's just simple walk. Not sure if that answer your question though.0

I know how it is to be sore. I do it every other day regardless. Unless I just feel so weak, then I take 2 or 3 days off.0
