Survival Run

Ok... I need some help here.

I registered for the Long Island Survival Race. (http://thesurvivalrace.com/long-island-ny-5k-obstacle-race/) I've never done one before and I don't know what to expect. Has anyone completed this race before and if so can you tell me what im in store for?

I'm also supposed to run the all female mud race in June in Philly. Any tips would be helpful!
