NAKED JUICES

ARE NAKED JUICES BAD OR GOOD?
THE SMALL 10OZ BOTTLE TAKES UP ALL MY SUGARS FOR THE DAY...
IS THERE GOOD SUGARS VERSUS BAD SUGARS?

Sugar is sugar. The source is irrelevant as far as weight loss. It would be a better idea to just eat fruit instead of drinking juice since most or all of the fiber is removed.

I drink the 32 oz ones all the time. If you workout a lot your body needs all the carbs it can get. Period.

I make sure to drink them on an empty stomach though so the sugars can be digested quickly. The problem is when there is too much fat in the diet, it can inhibit the absorption of sugar and lead to health issues. Think of it as an empty highway. The sugar (fast cars) get on the highway and coast to where they need to be (the cells). If there is traffic (fat) then they get stuck (in your bloodstream) and hence a spike in blood sugar and all the other nasty stuff thereafter. This is what overweight people have to deal with. It is FAT that is the problem. People aren't getting fat and getting diabetes because of fruit drinks like Naked/Odwalla. It's too much fat plus processed starches.

    Mmm, Blue Machine.

Fat and starches don't make a person fat. People are getting fat because they are eating more and not moving as much.
