I bought a bag of them and I'd read you could cook with them. Has anyone a really great recipe that would be delicious for using them when you cook?

Bump. I guess no one here has ever cooked with a blood orange before?

I have never even heard of a blood orange. You could google and see if you can find anything.0

I read some on the Sunkist website yesterday. I haven't personally tried them.0

Yes! This recipe is soooo good:

Blood oranges also make nice composed salads. I like to pair them with pungent and salty things like cheese, olives, red onion, or raddichio.
A blood orange compote would be nice too. You could eat it with plain cake, or mix into yogurt, or do dozens of other things with it.0 -
I had my first blood orange last week. I just like to eat them.0
