I'm at a plateau, any suggestions:/

Hello everyone--my name is Viviana and I have been on my weight loss journey for about 2 years--I am down 73lbs and I still want to lose the rest of the weight. My goal is to be 140 lbs by July. The thing is I have been having problems losing any more weight. I run--my husband and I are running The Garmin Oz marathon in April. I just get so discouraged that nothing is changing. Does anyone have any suggestions? They would be greatly appreciated!

Are you eating enough? Running is a high calorie burner, so check your calories. I hit a plateau and discovered I wasn't eating enough! Just an idea!

As long as you're in a caloric deficite your weightloss should continue.

You can maybe add some weight training 2-3 times a week and see if that'll get you over the hump.

How long has it been since you've seen any progress? Sometimes the body just needs time(1-2 weeks) to catch up to the work you've put in.

Change your routine. Look into homeostasis and that's pretty much sums up all plateaus.

protein: 40 30 30 split for your macros, carbs, protein, fat (i eat 120 grams of protein a day)
also, make sure you're eating enough, do you log the exact amounts of food, do you have a HRM that tells you actually how many calories you are burning? make sure you don't net under your BMR or you will plataue,
you should probably up your calories, you might gain a couple pounds first but then you should lose weight quicker as your body will be well fed and won't be holding on to all the calories

Eat more for a week, like just up your calories and do different workouts. . I read around and Jullian M. says it too. :) Hope it works!
