I have the same problem somedays, especially if I'm eating really low-cal healthy foods. Try more calories dense foods -- peanut butter (or any nut butter), nuts, avocado, potatoes, starchy beans/legumes, breads (can be whole-grain and whatnot to keep it healthy). Any of these can provide extra cals with good nutrition too. Little adjustments make a huge difference!

Any medication could be affecting appetite, or a number of other causes. Either way, I hope including more calorie dense foods helps you out!

Yes, I know that certain medicines can affect your appetite! You should let the doctor that gave you the meds know about the loss of appetite. I would go online and look up the medicine and see if these are side effects. I hope you will be okay.

It sounds to me like you need to talk to your doctor. Without knowing what medication you were on or why, it's hard to say what impact it might have been having, or what it might do if you stop taking it. Not that I'd know what I was talking about if you DID share that information, since I'm not a doctor- which is why you need to talk to your doctor. In the meantime, maybe try getting enough calories by supplementing with smoothies, if you're just not very hungry?

Okay after looking at your diary I can see this....

Your lack of food is going back more than just a "few" weeks, it has been happening pretty much the whole time you have been logging.
    Are you exercising? At all?
Of all the days you have logging, a lot of it has been fast food, I would focus on making your own filling foods.
Go see your doctor so they can refer you to a nutritionist.

Might be the medication. Check the bottle for side effects or ask your doctor to be sure.

I honestly don't know what answer you are looking for. It is not uncommon for medication to affect appetite. Sometimes it goes away. Sometimes it doesn't. We also don't know how long you will be on the medication.
Not eating enough for a short period of time will not have any dire consequences so if the medication is short term, like a course of antibiotics, I would eat what I could and get back on track when done or if I felt better.
If not I would consult my doctor about the issue.
I would not stop taking medication without consulting my doctor.

The meds could most certainly be causing your appetite to be fluctuating. Especially if you have been on a few of them and switching from one to the other or something like that. As you get used to it you will most likely get your appetite back. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just eat healthy foods when your are able and get in your fluids. If it goes on for too long talk to your doc about it.

your fainting and dizzy spells are probably due to a lack of food.

Betapyn is like asprin, paracetamol is like Tylenol- neither have a sedative effect
Codeine is a narcotic and will make you dizzy
Doxylamine succintae is an antihistamine which has a diuretic effect that can dehydrate you and also has a powerful sedative effect which makes you drowsy
Robidem is for nausea but has no sedative affect

Any of these taken together can produce enhanced side effects- i.e.- even greater dizziness and drowsiness.
How were they prescribed to be taken? Does your doctor know you are on all these meds?
Be careful and take exactly as the doctor/pharmacists prescribes.
