Looking for a good workout app and I see "You are Your Own Gym" for $2.99.. It seems to have good ratings.. Does anybody have this? Is it worth the $2.99? Does it include strength training activities?? Thoughts?

I don't know if it's related to the book, but the book is a million percent worth whatever it's going for.

I'm pretty sure that you can only have 100% of something...unless you are talking about growth rates. In that case...you have me at about 80%

I don't know the app but the book is good. For $2.99, I'd take the gamble!

If you're not familiar with the book, it's a great resource for bodyweight exercises, from beginner to hardcore. Very worth it if you travel or can't/won't join a gym.

^^^This times whatever Concrete Girl said. It's $3 dollars? How wrong can you be for $3??? Stopping what I was doing to respond to this post cost me half that amount.

It's worth $3 just for the calories you'll save from the Starbucks you'll skip!

Yes, it is worth it. Videos of all the moves and you don't need to have Internet to use it.

It is amazing. I have had great success with the guided programs.

Be sure that you have enough room though, it's a large file.

The YAYOG book is amazing, and I believe the app contains the workouts from it (but not all the exercises the book gives details about), so I would definitely say the app is worth at least $3.

I see this app on the Goggle Play Store for $1.99. I don't generally "run out and buy" things, but after reading the reviews and seeing the images of the app, I thought it looked great. It's a week til payday, but there's groceries in the house and gas in my car for work.... I spent the $2 LOL.
There's some really good looking information and details in this app. Thanks for asking about it, OP... Now it's time for me to change into my workout clothes and give this a shot!
