I just wondered if anyone else has had this happen to them, I'm currently 1 stone heavier than I was 20 years ago but a smaller in clothes size, it's strange how your body shape changes over the years

1 year and a half ago I was 20lbs from my goal weight. I reached my goal weight a year ago and went down a few sizes. Now I'm up 8lbs from my goal weight, but still in the smaller size. I believe my weight gain is from muscle and I know that muscle takes up less space than fat.0

It happens, for sure! I weigh the same amount in my side-by-side profile pic, but I'm about 3 inches smaller in my waist in the left one. Yay muscle!0
