beginner workout, is it enough?

i am 26 and 177 lbs. I've started walking last week and walked outside for 3 days and this wednesday i swam for half an hour and it was really hard because i am a smoker so the next day i walked on a treadmill for 25 minutes and used the stationary bike for 25 minutes. today i walked for 20 minutes, used the bike for 10 minutes and 30 minutes slow pace swimming. if i could, i would have swam for an hour without getting bored but i cant. what do you think i should do? should i stick to cardio + half an hour swimming or just an hour cardio?

I am not an expert in cardio, but I am an expert in getting bored when doing cardio...lol...
So I would definitely stick with swimming for 20-30 minutes. And then finish off with treadmill on incline (increasing the incline gradually over the course of a few weeks). Make sure that you're really well-hydrated before the workout and during both the swimming and treadmill sessions, or you may experience some cramping.
You may want to check out some youtube videos on swimming exercises to incorporate into your fitness program.
Congrats on making the effort to improve your physical fitness. Get going on that, toss that smoking habit, and you'll feel like you're 25 years old by the time you're 28.0 -
are you a gym member?
if so I'd look into some strength training to go along with the cardio....it's going to make a more drastic impact on your body than walking.
if not, it seems like you have the right idea. Find fun activities and cycle them throughout the week so you don't get bored.0
