Hi Everyone,

I'm new. Have been sedentary for two years with also very poor nutrition. Yesterday, I took a water aerobics class and felt wonderful. I did the entire class full tilt because I was feeling so good. I came home and decided I needed protein and ate chicken, hummus, drank water et cetera. Had a fairly rounded out day with calories though I went overboard on protein and fat (hummus and nuts). Last night I noticed tendonitis in my achilles (which has been chronic since gaining the weight), knees, elbows and wrists. I took Naproxen and went to bed. I was exhausted.

Woke up feeling fairly good so I went to water aerobics again. Had some wrist and knee aches during the class so I did not go full tilt but had a good class. Now three hours later-- all my tendons are aching again despite motrin.

I'm so nervous-- . If I can't even do water aerobics how am I supposed to exercise? Are there any supplements I should take? My wrists are killing me just typing this message.

You did two back to back exercise classes after being mostly sedentary - even though its water aerobics your body is still acclimating to the movement, my opinion would be to take a few rest days then get back at it.

People are always low on vitamin D so you could supplement some (just know that even taking the 2000 U pills will take a long time to get up to 'normal limits' of vitamin D.
