Knee Pain

Hey everyone! I haven't been to the doctor yet however I am not sure if I really need to go. About 2 weeks ago after my leg day and upping my squat weight I noticed my knee was really aching. It was swollen to the touch later that night. When I was at the gym I didn't feel anything unusual or any pain. Now, 2 weeks later I get shooting pain from my foot all the way up to the back of my knee and around the inside to the front. This morning I woke up and could hardly walk on it or bend it. As the day has gone on it has gotten better and I am fine however if I turn my foot a certain way the shooting pain comes back. With the shooting pain, it is just that. Its not a constant pain throughout the day however it comes and goes maybe 8-10 times daily. I lowered my weight on my squats and have continued to work out and do cardio. When I am doing those things it doesn't ness. bother me at that time. Just comes in spurts. Has anyone had this happen? If so what was it? Do I need to go to the doc. or is it something that may just take a few weeks to go away?? Thanks!

It sounds like a tear of the muscle or joint around the knee. Go to the doctor to be sure.0
