Not new, but trying again

Hi,
I joined MFP in January 2009 with the goal of losing 10 lbs - all vanity weight - to go from 115 to 105 for the summer. I was SO successful - losing 3 lbs in the first month, and then !YAY! got pregnant with my daughter. Left MFP, gained 30 lbs in 28 weeks of pregnancy, at which time, my daughter made a very early surprise arrival. It's been 9 months since her birth - she's doing fantastic.
I've been eating like a linebacker since I first found out I was pregnant, and so I still had 10 lbs of pregnancy weight to lose. Finally fed up with my lack of control, I made a bet with my sister - 8 lbs in 8 weeks or I owe her $100.00.
I logged back in to MFP a week and a half ago and I lost 3 in the first week, which seems just a little weird. I have 5 more to go for my challenge, and 6.6 weeks to do it. Not sure it was a realistic goal, given my size and current BMI (I'm 5'1, BMI = 22.3). I'm still breastfeeding, and have some days where I'm fine and others where I'm starving all day - even doing the same activities and eating the same amount. Some days, I feel like I can't finish eating my calories because I have so much food, and others (like today), I'm so hungry. I don't think I have this down right.
Love the site - SOO helpful to finally feel accountable for what I take in.
