I'm meant to be struggling with this...

... I'm meant to be finding this hard. why else would I have never done it this way before?

2008 Dropped from 112 kg to 88kg, took me 18 months of slogging it out in the gym and trying to eat well.

2013 - in 71 days I've dropped 12 kg, I eat what I want (within cals), I've barely been in the gym, mostly using the stationery bike and small home gym at home, walking, swimming and playing netball and I don't really care about the stupid array of rules. I'm more toned, smaller, healthier, happier and getting pretty thin

BUT I'm hypothyroid, barely recovered from depression (literally just had the 'all clear' on Wednesday), dealing with my fathers terminal cancer ( so a huge amount of stress), have an ED that screwed up my metabolism even further, and am ridiculously accident prone to the point where my boss has told me if I break another toe he's cutting off my feet :p

I shouldn't be able to do this. But I am. SO CAN YOU!

This week I'll hit my 'halfway to my goal' mark. By this winter (june july and august where I live) I'll be thin. I love this :)

    Solid post.

Too often I run into posts of people complaining they can't.

    It's nice to get these.

Thanks for the inspiration. I was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism and love hearing that we can lose the weight. It's nice that you've found a great balance between what you want and what your body needs.

Good job! I have hypothyroidism too, and this makes me feel hopeful. I can't wait to get to the halfway mark. :D

that means so much. with everything i went through i had people (former best friend included) who told me it was negative to be honest about how I was feeling if those feelings weren't sunshine and rainbows, and so being told i'm positive is as great as being told i'm 'getting thin':)
