Talapia, Kale and Quinoa

Not really a recipe exactly, but I LOVE this meal. Melt a little real butter in a skillet and drop in your kale on one side and your talapia on the other. Boil up your quinoa in a sauce pan and sprinkle a little lemon pepper on the fish. Yummo! Tastes great, very few calories and even a kitchen novice like me can make it. Try it sometime.

I've heard of quinoa but have never had it. What is it and what does it taste like?

Mattswife, it's a grain (I think), kind of like rice but smaller. It's kind of weird. It's shaped like a UFO and when it's done, the outer ring will fall off. It's crazy stuff, but it's like grits, it takes on flavors well, is very good for you and easy to make. It's a nice alternative to rice. It can be a little pricey, but Wal-Mart sells a brand called Village Harvest that is quite reasonable. Give it a try and let us know what you think.
