How do you keep your breath fresh during a workout?

I usually work out for 2-3 hours and somewhere near the end my breath gets HOT.
I'll start looking around too to make sure everyone is still alive.
What's the most natural way to keep it fresh? I won't chew Trident or pop an Altoid. Is there some sort of sprig of herb I could keep in my pocket?

If you want to go herbal, parsley is a good breath deodorizer. The curly-leafed version is sturdy enough to stand up to some pocket time (especially if you keep it in your coat pocket, and just go get some every once in a while).0

You could try freezing fresh mint in ice cubes in your water bottle - as the ice melts, you'll have minty water. I did that for lemonade once, and it came out great.
Or, put cucumber slices or lemons/oranges, etc. in your water bottle. Even if you refill it, it'll infuse the water to some degree.0 -
