Classify my activity level

I work in retail and am on my feet for about 10 or so hours a day at my job. I do some very basic workouts (which I will increase as I am able to) that include squats, push-ups, basic dot drills (hopscotches) that takes about 20 minutes to do in its entirety. (As I said... Working on doing more as I can.). I do this 5 days a week.

Having said that, what would you classify my activity level as? I am trying to calculate my calorie goal, macro goals, etc. I have figured out my body fat % as well as my bmr... I am trying to get my correct tdee, so i can get the right amount of calories and nutrients.. I just don't what to classify my activity level as so can get the right tdee.

Thanks for your help.

It sounds like you're square on the dot for Lightly Active. You can log those 20 minute workouts separately to get more calories on the days you work out.

If you look under the profile settings, lightly active falls under the category of spending a lot of time on your feet each day, and it gives the examole of a teacher or salesman. I think you would be safe choosing lightly active to get your most accurate tdee, and then record any exercise you do throughout the day.
  • Thank you everyone for the quick replies. I loved the link as well! Well, according to my calculations using the link provided, my tdee -20% is 1850. Seems high based on being lightly active, but who am I to disagree? That's why I am here... For advice and support.

    Thanks again!!!
