I don't recall this happening last year when I was trying to change my eating habbits so I thought I'd share a mini victory. My husband and I are allowing a cheat day twice a month. Our big cheat was getting these single pieces of chocolate cake with buttercream in the middle. I used to love that kind of stuff and could eat it without thinking twice about it.
This time though, I only managed barely 1/4 of the cake, and all I could think was that it was way too sweet! My stomach started hurting, and I had to drink a bottle of water to calm it down.
Same goes with sodas, juices, even Crystal Lite. Its too sweet and syurpy after sticking to just water all the time!
Its really proving to me, that I can change my eating habbits and that my body does adapt well to the changes. Its actualy given me a boost of confidance that I won't miss certain foods. and that, if I do eat something sweet, I won't need to eat much to satisfy my sweet tooth!
Yay! lol:flowerforyou:

Sweet reward!
The same thing happened to me. My teeth start to ache as if nails to a chalk board...never thought I would appreciate that feeling!0 -

Isn't that the best? I had SUCH a chocolate craving today, so I bought a single Lindor Truffle at the fabric store. 70 cals, in place of one of my small snacks, and it was PERFECT. Yum. But two would have made me feel horrible, and I used to eat them by the fist full. ick.0
