Washing the Polar FT4 Strap

So, obviously, if I am working out wearing this strap, mowing the yard, etc., it will get sweaty. How do I wash this? Another question, how often? Thanks!

I wash mine in the sink with Wisk laundry detergent and cold water once a week.

I have the ft7 and the strap is machine washable (without the transmitter). Don't use fabric softener. The manual that came with mine gave details of the washing instructions. If you don have the manual anymore google search for it.

Just take the transmitter off, stuff the strap into a pillow case, tie off the pillow case with a lose knot & throw it in the laundry. When it's done, just pull it out of the pillow case & let it air dry.

I gather you can also buy a mesh lingerie laundry bag, like this, but the pillow case works:

... and yeah, don't use fabric softener or detergent with fabric softener in it.
