So JUST before I did my "reassess" this week and increased my TDEE to 1600 daily, I was making efforts the days before to truly eat to 1200 or just above as I kept hearing less then 1200 was bad - hence why I posted for more info and to readjust and why I started eating at 1200 or above most of this past week.
The 3 lb gain after my initial drop of 11 lbs stalled my body for 2 weeks which is why I looked and looked for what I was doing wrong - this morning the 3 lbs left the bldg. and took an extra pound with it! YAY!
I attribute this to time of course, staying the course with the plant strong diet and portions, increasing to a true 1200 or just over earlier in the week and in the last 2 days feeding my body what it needs to work - 1600 a day.
We went to Movie Tavern last night - local movie theater that is also a restaurant where they serve alcohol and full fledged meals in your theater seat - BIG leather seats with tray tables, the works - crazy huh? - - we each got a glass of wine and passed on even the popcorn which for us being plant strong with no meat, no dairy and no oil had the butter and salt - we did just fine!
But we did survey the theater and boy does everyone overeat with so many bad foods.............I guess when you are dieting or making a lifestyle change you start to really notice how people eat around you - no judgements here, just real awareness now of food intake, know what I mean???
Anyway, to those who asked for updates, this is my first one and I absolutely feel confident that the increase per day will keep this break (FINALLY) in my "stall" moving in the right direction - scale going down in numbers!
