Is heavy lifting for me?

This post shows some women who are obviously very hard working and motivating. IN MY OPINION though, I personally don't want to look like that. I'm constantly reading that heavy lifting wont bulk you up but I FEEL that this is too muscly for how I want to look. Should I therefore be doing lighter weight and more reps

Lighter weight and more reps can actually build more "Mass". If you remain at a high BF% the muscle won't show as much.0

The women in that thread are intentionally flexing. Just standing around, you probably wouldn't notice any bulk on most of them.0

Those women are flexing in those pictures, when you aren't flexing you don't have nearly as much definition unless you are at an extremely low body fat. When I flex my arms you can see my biceps and shoulders but when I am not flexing I just have a slim arm.
My answer is yes, heavy lifting is for you. I've been at it a month and my legs look so much better. Prior to that I was doing a lot of cardio, bootcamp classes, and occasional lifting with high reps.
I started out small and I still am small, working toward a better version of small.
Maybe someone will start a new thread with pictures of women flexing vs not flexing.0 -
