C25K Week 1- Am I ready to move on?

I just finished the third day of week 1 of C25K. I can do it all, but I'm not sure exactly how the app works. Am I supposed to wait until it's actually easy before going on? I can definitely jog for a minute with the 90 seconds of walking, but by the end of the last running session, I am tired, and that last minute of jogging/running is tough (usually I'm on an uphill part of my street at that point too, which makes it tougher). Should I keep doing week 1 until I really have no trouble whatsoever with it or am I supposed to move on anyway? Thanks!

Keep going girl. You can do it! I did week 1 and absolutely died, but you build up the endurance quickly.

Just keep going. I never had to repeat any weeks. It is completely okay if you want to repeat weeks. I had decided that if I could do day 1 of the next week, I was good to go. For me, it was more of a mind game.

Don't wait until it's easy, if you completed a day's session, move on to the next and keep going.

Heck, I've been running for about a year now (thanks to c25k! :drinker: ) and there are still days when running isn't easy. It's an odd thing. But stick with the plan, and keep moving forward - the sense of accomplishment as I completed each week was just awesome, and one of my favorite things about that program.

Youre doing fine! as long as you can complete your week, move on. I had to repeat week 4 but that was it. A bit of advise? Don't try to run too fast...as long as youre "propelling" forward, its still running. Speed will come in time ( unless, of course, youre over 50 and about 50 overweight. That would be me). i spent a lot of time reading the forum at c25K. Everybody is going through the same thing you are and there tends to be comfort in numbers! My last suggestion is to go out 3 days a week come rain or shine. I never allowed it to be an option. I completed the C25K over 2 years ago and I'm still going strong. I love it and I hope you will too. Enjoy!

Just keep going. There is nothing wrong with repeating weeks also if you think you need to. Lord knows I did. I certainly did the 8month program vs the 8week program. Compared to where I was at physically (and mentally) when I started, such a difference and sense of accomplishment. You got this! Go get it

Good call...move on! You got this. I'm supposed to move on to week 5 tomorrow, but I'm really nervous about the big jump. I think I may repeat week 4, because I wasn't exactly successful getting through it.

Same here, I'm repeating week 4. Do whatever's comfortable for you! I repeated week 3 as well. Go at your own pace :)

Only redo a week if you dont feel like your strong enough to move on. For me I tend to redo weeks, however, I want to to build up my endurance, my speed and time. I found that my speed and endurance has improved a lot in the last few months, either due to the program itself or the extra time I've spent redoing the weeks lol.

However, do what works for you. thats the beauty of these apps go at your own pace!
