Hi guys
Been doing a lot of forum trawling as I have completed my first week of the insanity workout. I determined my caloric needs with the booklet provided. On my trawling I saw this website continuously appear so thought I would give it a go! Although on doing so its threw in a curve ball as my caloric needs are a fair bit different on here as oppose to the insanity booklet. Can anyone help a newbie out?

Thanks man, basically on working out my caloric needs through insanity, it states that I should be eating 3200 calories a day which is a massive struggle. According to MFP I have to eat 1900 calories a day to lose 2 lbs a week, but I have also calculated on here that my body needs 2000 calories a day to survive. So if i went on with MFP then surely my body would go into starvation especially when conquering insanity everyday?
Any help for a dedicated and determined newbie to get his head round the science would be very much appreciated!!!

The 1900 a day is without exercise. Once you input the number of calories burned doing insanity, your daily intake will go up for that day. So for instance, if I were to never exercise and still wanted to lose weight. I simply eat my daily calorie goal MFP gives me. If I want to eat more then I have to exercise. I just simply eat back my exercise calories. Hope this helps.0

Have you calculated your TDEE? TDEE minus 20% is a very effective method. Use this website:

MFP recommends I eat 1200 calories, but my RMR is 1400, and my TDEE is 2200, so to lose weight without starving I need 1700 calories a day.0 -

Yeah I understand it now, I think too much into things!! Thank your for that. Does anyone know how to input insanity into the excercise diary as its various high intensity workout excercises?0 -
