IT WORKS AND IT CAN WORK FOR YOU
It worked for me and here is my story. I was trolling my face book page when a girl I knew in high school was showing pictures of her incredible weight loss of over 100lbs. The next chance I got when she was online I asked her how did you manage such an awesome weight loss. What’s your secret? She told there is no magic pill Joe. I burn more calories then I take in and if you want to eat more just work out. I was like counting calories just seems impossible for a guy like me always on the run. She says I do have a little bit of magic for that. She introduced me to this site and told me how down loading the app on my smart phone was the key. Last July 4th 2012 I was pushing 280 with no end in sight. I looked at my two 4 year olds and knew if I wanted to be around for them I needed to make a change at 46. It is now March of 2013 and I am down to 212. My goal of course is 200. Everyone who sees me notices right away the weight loss. An my confidence is much improved and I am actually looking for to being in the pool with my kids. I want you to know it wasn't easy and I changed my diet to a high protein low carb diet as well. My day includes at least 20 min of cardio a day and more if I can work it in. Started eating fish twice a week along with turkey burgers and chicken. If I do eat meat I try and make it lean cuts like pork loin or steak. I also filled the house with healthy options peanut butter and celery, soy bean, almonds and fresh vegetables and fruits but stay away from bananas. I also didn’t drink my calories. Crystal light lemonade, Kirkland Diet Green Tea( a caffeinated drink in the morning helps start the metabolism)and propel water when I didn’t feel like just plain water. All of these have 0 calories. Choosing healthy options for lunch was made easier with the app turns out a grilled chicken bacon ranch salad at McDonalds with Italian light is only about 350 calories or the Applebee’s Dijon chicken minus the potatoes and extra broccoli is 300 calories. Half the battle is knowing what has calories and what doesn’t. If your still reading and found this helpful great. Weight loss isn’t easy no matter how you do it. What works for some doesn’t work for others. I hope you find your path here to a healthy happier you.
