so a lot of people seem to experience that massive loss of water weight at the beginning of their weight loss journey.
do we actually gain it back after setting to maitenance calories again or does it stay off?

Water weight can be a result of hormones, too much sodium in the body, or even dehydration. The two latter you can keep in check, but hormones is something we just have to grin and bare0
