Hi guys, I'm starting my weight program next week at home but how do you assess how much weight you start with for each exercise?

It's trial and error. It will take a few workouts to gauge how much you are capable of lifting.0

Treat the 1st month or so as trial & error - ensure your form is correct and note the weights you are lifting. You may feel initially you are lifting too light but it's better to learn good form then to injure yourself and not be able to lift for weeks.0

Ill be lifting at home so what weight range do I need? Will a 35kg set suffice? Dumbell and bar?0
