Feeling stuck.

I have had a steady weight loss since September of 2012, 35 pounds total. My husband and I just got back from a week in Florida with his family. I stuck to around 1500 a day and we worked out twice a day at the gym. This is more exercise than I normally do. I just weighed myself and am 10 pounds heavier than when we left.
I feel very confused and need some ideas.

Quick question, did you track while on vacation? If so go back and look at what you ate. Also, did you drop your calories from normal, you might, (just might) have succeeded in stalling things out by one, the change in routine, change in food, and change in calories, your body doesn't care for fast changes. If any of the above triggered it,like vacation food sodium (a lot of it could be water retention, not all but a bunch) then you should be able to correct it relatively easily.
I would get back into your normal routine, hydrate like crazy, and check in a week. Seems like a lot of folks gain over vacation and get rid of it in a couple of weeks, be patient with yourself.

You added 10 lbs of muscle? :)

Seriously. I have no idea but keep it up, it will happen. I think everyone plateaus & gets over it eventually.

Don't panic, see what things are like in a week. That will give your body time to adjust back to your routine and I'm willing to bet your weight will go back down again.

    TOM? Water retention? High sodium?

    Eat back your exercise calories?

You probably did not gain 10 pounds in a week - really- weigh yourself again in 2 weeks after being on your normal routine .

Don't worry, these things can happen sometimes. If these days are your special days, your body may retain water or another reason? Actually, 10 pounds are too much for a week.I'm sure this's not about what you ate or burned.
