1lb cactus ( already cleaned and cut).
3 tomatoes
6 green onions (any onion.is fine)
Cilantro
1 can of sliced jalapeno
2 limes and salt
Just boil the cactus for 18 mins or until they change color, drain the water until they are clean, rinse with cold water, just add all the chopped veggies and the diced jalapeños and also add the juice from the can, and just add lime and salt to the taste. You can also add parmesan cheese. Yummmmi!!!

Interesting recipes, but where would I find cactus in Canada.0

I have seen in cans or jars at the grocery, but I don't live in Canada. Look for Nopales or Nopalitos. If you have a Mexican grocery somewhere, I bet they would have it.0

You know cactus comes from Mexico and its getting really popular in the USA for its health benefits and now u can find it in any grocery store. They usually have them next to the bell peppers.0
