Eating more after lifting....

As always, sorry if this has been answered previously (and also sorry if it's a stupid question).

I'm currently working with a trainer at my gym, and as trainers do, she's set me a programme to follow between her sessions. The majority of this programme is working with weights (free weights mainly) with a max amount of 10 minutes cardio at the end. It takes me about 40 minutes to get through the programme and i'm sweating pretty hard throughout.

My question is as I don't wear a heart monitor during training, and you don't get a calorie burn when you enter strength training on MFP should I be making an effort to eat more on my work out days?

P.S sorry if this post is a little disjointed, I wrote it while keeping one eye on the rugby! Thanks in advance people.

You should def be eating more, even if it is just a post-workout drink (either protein shake, milk or chocolate milk)

If you type in strength training under cardiovascular it has an entry that gives you a calorie burn. Try using this to give you an idea of how much extra to eat.
