Rest Days?

Hello all, I have never posted before and I am not very good at this but oh well.
I love working out, I always feel better and sleep well after I do. It just makes me feel awesome. People have been telling me lately that I work out too much and that I need to rest on weekends. I don't really want to, but I was wondering what peoples opinions were on rest days and how often to take them?

It depends on what you are doing. Strength training requires rest days to allow your muscles to deal. If you do intense cardio, a rest would be beneficial to keep from burning out. But, a rest could just mean taking a leisurely stroll that day instead of running/lifting.
My recommendations:
Strength training - at least a day of rest in between working the same muscle groups.
Intense Cardio - a day or two of rest a week should be fine.0
