Okay, so one of my pet peeves is when packages list a serving as dry(such as pasta, grains, etc.) but don't list it as cooked! For example-a serving of past is 2oz. dry. What is the cooked equivilent?

They give dry because once you cook it there are too many variables based on how much water it absorbed. I might cook my pasta to barely el dente and you might cook it to mush. The weight of the same amount will be different because the amount of water absorbed is different.0
