Sometimes a girl just needs chocolate.

I used to bake for my family every Sunday, but I can never stop at one slice of anything, really.
Besides, who has time for waiting when you're craving chocolate, like, yesterday?

I just got a microwave for the first time (!) and suddenly remembered the nine billions recipes for mug cakes the web has to offer. Sadly, they all have a ton of white flour, sugar and eggs. Not this one! This is genius.

It's one serving (no cake tempting from the stand!), takes literally one minute to prepare and it's DELICIOUS!
It's fairly healthy if you use good quality ingredients, although it's still a treat.

5 tsp. whole wheat flour
2 tsp. cocoa powder
a pinch of baking soda
2 tsp. honey
3 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. dark chocolate chips

Mix the dry ingredients in a rameking or a teacup, add honey and milk, stir to get rid of lumps.
Toss in chocolate chips.
Microwave on High for 30 seconds, then add 10 seconds at a time for a max. of 60 seconds.
Serve immediately!

You could add a tablespoon or two of light whipped cream, or ice cream, depending on your calorie "allowance".
I eat it with a glass of skim milk

MFP puts it at 204 calories.
For me, it's not bad for such a decadent dessert, and I know exactly what's in it!
ENJOY!
