10km

Im running my 10km in 49 days. I can do about 6km now, but my timing is not that great. Any tips, training schedules, or eating plans anyone can help me with.

**Background info** Ive done two 10k in the past...about 5 years ago. Used to run quite a bit, now I'm in my 30s a little heavier so Im back at this and finding it a bit tough.

Anyway, any help will be very much appreciated.

    I'm using the free app 10k trainer right now. Just kind of gives you guidelines for each workout to help build endurance. You can pick up after the 5k part since you can already run one. I love the app. About 4 weeks away of being able to run a 10k!!
