Cultural differences/perspectives on fitness

This is an interesting topic to discuss since it tended to come up for me on the occasions that I see my relatives during family gatherings throughout the year.

I've been involved in a fit lifestyle since Jan 2009 when I lost 55 pounds, from 195 - 140. It was such a great accomplishment for me and was well complimented by my peers.

Coming from a Mexican family, my aunts/uncles and my mom, to this day, still comment on how skinny I am. Sure, at the time, 140 at 5'9" is a slender build but far from being unhealthy. I got the sense that they'd prefer me to be a bit more "rounder" as I used to be before my weight loss. Of course now that I bulked up to 160 this won't be much a topic with family, but trying to explain the concept of bulking and cutting is far beyond them.

So what kind of criticism have y'all gotten from friends and family about your fitness lifestyle?
