I appreciate your post. Thanks for sharing. See everyone, it's that easy to be supportive instead of always trying to prove everyone wrong.

Being supportive is not the opposite of proving someone wrong.

Yes. In my book, being supportive also means correcting misinformation. I'd rather someone say, nope, sorry, you got it wrong then tell me great job and let me believe something that is false.

The original post said nothing that was "misinformation". Chin toning exercises sound like a great thing to complement the other lifestyle changes we are all making. Just seems like some people come on here to find stuff to prove wrong. Try being supportive. Such as "Those exercises sound great, but just don't forget that without a good diet and exercise routine, they may not get you where you are hoping." Tah dah!!

I find it more supportive to say, "You need a good diet and exercise routine, rather than essentially wasting time and getting discouraged by not getting results from sticking your tongue our and making kissy faces at the mirror."

    Really?

Yes. That's why I just said it.

Would anyone like to "define" toning, and how flexing your chin results in this?

Just adding another vote to the people who think this approach is far more helpful

I know of some other "exercise" that is really fun and one can do to work out those neck/chin/face muscles...but I'd get in big trouble for saying it.

Are these in the exercise database? I want to add them to my exercise diary, because I eat back my calories.

I find these are way more effective. Sometimes, it can be a total body workout.
