Is it important to get enough sleep when dieting? I have been trying to lose wait and only lost ten pounds so far and I am curious to know if it may be caused from lack of sleep. Thank you.

I think sleep has alot to do with you overall well being! I did hear that on the Doctors talk show last week or week before! thta 7-8 hours is needed so your body can recharge its self!! I have a hard time sleeping!0

In general, appropriate sleep is essential to maintain a healthy body and overall well being... what I found was that with improved exercise, I slept better- and in doing so, I felt better overall- can't say it totally helped with weight loss though.0

Your profile says you joined last month. If you have lost ten pounds in a month, you are losing very quickly and shouldn't be worried about trying to lose more. That said, sleep does help because it reduces the stress on your body, which makes it easier for your body to lose weight.0
