Hello from an OAP !
I started using this really good app a few days ago after a similar one with a free trial ended.
I'm finding this very useful but want to add my exercise plan but think it might be too old to get relevant calorie 'burn' amounts.
It's called the XBX plan and was designed by a doctor in the Canadian Air Force.
I've used it off and on for years and its great for a nice easy start if you've been lazy for too long!
4 simple floor exercises followed by on the spot running, with a gradual increase in reps every 10 days, all to be done within 11 minutes.
I'm sticking down -75 cals/day at the moment but would like to be more accurate.
Any ideas,
Gordon

Hi Gordan,
I don't find MFP partically accurate when it comes to recording calories lost.
You could break the workout down and then record it seperatly for each section of the work out?
Good luck!0 -
Honestly, I am not sure how to track it either - other than looking up each exercise. I did the XBX (ladies version) years ago when I was a teen (have scoliosis and my mother did it when she was younger for the same reason). Recently I found a copy of it at my mom's house and wanted to start it back up again. Have to admit, got down to my smallest waist size and best overall muscle tone when I was a teen doing it. Fell off just before I graduated...too bad, would have made college a less heavy experience! :blushing: I did hear they suggest doing crunches instead of the full sit-up now due to possible spinal injury, but otherwise, I have pulled out the old book to see just how bad I have let it get! Let me know how you are getting on with it! :happy:0
