Does anyone else have this problem???

Hello there!
Does anyone else have a sensitivity to the acids in food? When I eat acidic foods, my tongue breaks out in, well, I call them blisters. It's like the acid eats through a layer or two of my tongue. It's painful and it makes me avoid all my favorite fruits and vegetables. The worst offenders are, tomatoes, citrus fruits, sometimes apples and plums, peppers, etc. I know that at least one person in my family besides me has this too. Any ideas?

Yikes! That sounds really painful! Nope, I don't have any issues like that, but I hope someone can offer suggestions for you!
    Good luck!!

Yes I do too..especially tomatoes. Sadly though I don't have an answer for you. My Dr told me to just cut back and that it means that you have an upset stomach (not in sense of "flu bug") and that the acid is too much. As long as I eat acidic foods in moderation I am ok..but if it is worse than that for you I would talk to you Dr.

(sorry not much help but at least you know you aren't alone!)
