Why don't you get something good and christian like god telling a guy to murder his son, or god getting annoyed and drowning(murdering) every person on earth sans one family, or god burning someone eternally in fire for using the free will he gave them himself to choose not to worship him.
Yay bible stories!
Well no need to question your beliefs.Would rather go thru life believing and be wrong, as to not believe and be wrong.0 -
I'm not religious and I don't go to church but honestly people, give the guy a freaking break for wanting to express his own faith in a tattoo. It's not like he's cramming it down your throat. He's looking for ideas to incorporate his verses in a tattoo.
OP: It's a very personal thing to get done. I think you need to sit down with your tattoo artist with the versus and ask him/her to start sketching out ideas for you.0 -

Thanks Jennie.....Figured I'd pull them out of the woodwork. No worries.0 -

^^ I'm an atheist; doesn't mean I can't offer useful suggestions regarding a religious-themed tattoo.0 -

People like you give people like me a bad name. Because I don't believe in God, I'm viewed as being a douche about it, because people like you can't accept that other people can have other beliefs.
Get your tattoo dude, screw the haters.0 -

Annnnnd my comment wasn't directed at you it was directed at those people who are bashing his religion and giving non useful advice on what he should get.0 -

I didn't think it was directed at me. I was agreeing with, and therefore quoting, your assertion.0 -
Maybe get a simple cross tatt that looks like it's made out of grapevines. The symbolism of both verses would be there.
You would know what it means. Plus, it would be a conversation starter should anyone ask about it's significance.0 -
I have one on my lower right calf in cursive writing that says God Happens. And on my lower left arm I have one of Jesus Hugging a Lamb. But if you are looking for verses. Ones I like that would be cool as a tattoo I think are "I can do all things thru Christ who Strengthens me" or "This is the Day the Lord Has Made, Let us Rejoice and be Glad in It" -There's a really cool one that the guy from Becoming the Archetype has that has a praying skeleton in front and then has Block type in behind it. I think it says something like Even the Dead Rise up to Praise you, Your Love Goes Far beyond the Grave. That one is really cool looking.0
