Has anyone tried this? Has it worked to help your weight loss journey? Please no debates, only serious replies from people who have actually tried this program. I heard that when you do it - all your dreams come true - and it makes no difference who you are! Thanks so much!!

    I've gotten mixed results.

Sometimes I wish upon a star and exactly what I wished for happens.

Other times I wish upon a star and nothing happens.

    It can be really exhausting.

Sitting on the couch and wishing upon stars.

I lay in bed until the clock says 11:11 and then wish really hard. I usually lose about a pound a day that way. As long as I don't wish so hard I poop in the bed. Then it can be 2 pounds lost!

OMG! I have been wanting to try this, but I'm so scared of changing my current routine. Do you have any information about which stars work to lose weight and which cause you to gain? Thanks! I don't know how to Google very well, so I appreciate your help!

I can't help it that your program is unrealistic and dangerous!! Don't you even know how your body works? Stars won't do ANYTHING FOR YOU!! I'm just trying to help!

You HAVE TO wish on a well. It's the only way.

Are you in the mean people cliche? They're always telling people they need to wish in wells....BUT YOU DON'T KNOW MY BODY! i tried wishing on a well once and gained 2 pounds back and lost my ability to speak Spanish. Wishing upon a star is appropriate for some people, so don't judge me!!!

ps) My doctor recommended this plan for me!! Are you calling her a liar?

Do you pick an actual star, or does it have to be shooting? I mean, shooting stars aren't really stars, so do they count?

And do you need to make sure you're not actually wishing on a planet?

Listen, most doctors don't know anything about wishing and weight loss. They get like, maybe, 30 minutes of lecture time on it in medical school. You need to get a referral to a wishtologist.

And maybe the well you wished into wasn't the right brand of well? You have to use the Dr. Oz well. It's the only kind that works. They're only three payments of $19.99, - isn't your success worth that????

And, you're not a freaking special snowflake, ok? Everyone gets results from wells. Geez.

For someone with so many posts you seem pretty uneducated when it comes to the actual science of weight loss...sigh..but I'll try to help.

Any star will do, if you happen to wish upon a shooting star instead it will have similar results except it will be mostly water weight.

If you wish on a planet, you won't lose weight but you will gain muscle. But please remember that muscle weighs more than fat so don't be discouraged if you see some gains on the scale.

ugh, do not, I repeat do NOT fall into the wishing on a star trap! It's totally a short term weight loss fix! as soon as you stop wishing on the star you'll gain back all the weight plus somehow end up with athletes foot. If you're going to do it you have to make wishing a LIFESTYLE choice. Don't just wish on stars or wells, you have to wish on EVERYTHING, rainbows, four leaf clovers, other people's birthday candles, lost eyelashes and you had BETTER get the big half of the wishbone EVERY TIME.

    Yes.

It did work. I wished on a star from a sailboat in the Gulf of Mexico that I could escape my life forever.

    It worked.

I have tried wishing on a star exactly twice. The first time was to have the boy I liked in high school to ask me out, and he did. He was a jerk.

The second time was a spite wish, and I got cancer.

    I don't recommend this.
