365 days later --- My journey to losing 60 pounds

Losing 60 pounds & gaining so much more! I hate to sound like a broken record but this site has truly changed my life. I
have the most wonderful friends on here & they have supported me through every single pound I have lost & even pounds I have gained I am not at goal just yet but I do believe I now have all the tools I need to get there.
Here are some things I have done that I think has made me successful at losing
the weight so far...
1. Early bird catches the worm
I love to sleep but with 2 kids I had to start getting up early if there was any
hope of me getting my workout in for the day. Took me several months to realize
that's what it was going to take.
2. Plan, plan, plan! I'm a planner so luckily that part was easy make goals &
don't beat yourself up too much if you don't reach them (some beating is
nesseary). Just adjust as you go & set new realistic but challenging goals. Plan
food & exercise.
3. Water, water, water....oh how I love thee water drink as much as you can &
much like your workout goals, try to challenge your self to increase.
Make your goals like a moving target. If u don't reach it don't let it be for a
lack of trying
To date I've ran 4-5 K races & 1-10K. My best 5K PR is 27 minutes & my 10K is
51.30. I've also done several Jillian Michaels workouts DVD. I only go to the gym to do yoga so this can defintiely be done at home if you dotn ahve access to a gym membership.
