Hi guys! So I'm starting P90X tonight and I'm wondering which I should do.. The classic or lean? I am about 153 pounds and my ultimate goal which i was in high school is 125 pounds and toned! I need some input on the two programs and which one has given you the best results! Any help is appreciated!

Classic, Lift to failure 8-10 reps as Tony will tell you repeatedly.0

I would say classic. Will trim u up more and then lift heavy to tone!!0

I went straight into classic on my first round and hadn't exercised in 20 years. Do what you can and work up to it.0

I have finished 4 rounds of p90x and i am now on my 5th round... The first round i did lean cause i was sooo chicken but 1/2 way though realized that it was not enough i wanted more but i am the type of person who has to finish what i start so i finished it and then did 3 rounds of classic... lean IMO was kinda a waste of time... yes i did lose weight but i also didnt gain much muscle mass... i always think if i would have just done the classic to begin with i would be further to my goal. Not that i havent reached my goal but im always increasing my goal every round.
I say dont be a chicken and do the classic you wont regret it.0 -
Classic! I stared in Lean but then made the switch. Glad I did. You'll see results sooner with the lifting disks in classic . The program is much more enjoyable (thus doable) with the variety in classic too.0
