I've heard peanut butter is a good protein source but is this true? And is it better than say milk?

There is a fair amount of protein in peanut butter (~8g/serving). The problem is that peanut butter is fairly high calorie (190 cal/serving), making it a less than ideal source of protein if fat loss is your goal.
As a comparison:
Whole Milk - 8g protein, 150 cal/serving
Skim Milk - 8g protein, 80 cal/serving
Now if instead of fat loss your goal is muscle gain, then peanut butter is a great source of protein.0 -
Thank very much!0
