I am now try to cook things for myself. From what I have know, one serving size of chicken breast is 3 Oz. Does that means that in any recipe that list the ingredients such as 2 boneless skinless chicken breast = 2 of 3 Oz of chicken breast-I have to cut them up, or 2 whole piece of chicken breasts - as in one breast is about 8 Oz so 2 chicken breast = 16 Oz?

Smaller chicken breast???..blasphme!!
Nope.. never cut it up.. I jsut make the recipe using whatever size chicken I want to use. then I log it at that weight. My theory is that recipes that require a specific amount of chicken will state how many ounces. .the rest are just going off whatever size breast they have. (I always add extra chicken, even if a recipe says a specific amount.. chicken is yum!)0 -
I would go based on the whole chicken breast... a little more isn't bad. But, make sure you weight it before you cook and add that amount to the recipe builder to ensure proper calories are added.0
