I was 220 lbs at one point. I have lost my weight am 145lbs now but my breast is still to big. I am a 38 f, am been doing more resistant training to tone. I dont want to have a breast reduction.I no I cant spot reduction, but I feel as if my breast should have gone down some at least a 38 dd. I would be happy with. I just dont no how much more weight I have to lose to see my breast go down.I am 5 7 I want curves I dont want to be skinny. My question is should I keep losing or just focus on weight lifting will that help breast go down.
I had a breast reduction 30 years ago. I'm 5' and was in a 36 F at the time. Had serious back issues. I understand how you feel about having large breasts. I wish you luck in getting them smaller. Sounds like you've done really well.0 -
Wait - you have one giant breast?0

If your bra is leaving dents in your shoulders then the band isn't taking enough of the strain (it should take 90% of the weight). I know it probably won't seem much better if you desperately want your breasts to shrink, but you're quite likely to be more like a 34G/GG than a 38F.
Whilst surgery might seem the only option, a bra that fits will make large breasts so much easier to live with.0 -
Honestly, it sounds like they're just not going anywhere. I had lost weight in the past and my chest never went anywhere either. This time they did though. I personally think it was my running. They bounce around so much, my body decided they should be smaller LOL. I'm still a 36E right now, but better than a 42G! But realistically, given your weight, I don't think they're going to reduce for you so surgery might be your only option.
Second the recommendation for running. In the past when I have lost weight through diet/aerobics alone, chest was the last place the weight left from. I started running prior to really watching what I ate and though I didn't lose any weight in that initial time period, I "looked" thinner and chest was one of the places that reduced. I honestly think the fat moved around so as to make running more efficient for me.
Now that I've been running and watching what I eat at the same time, have continued to lose inches in my chest. So now my chest is the 2nd to last place the fat will go from. Apparently my belly will be the last place now. :blushing:0 -
Great advice on a good bra any advice on where to shop online for a good bra0

Figleaves & Herroom, but I would go get fitted first - at Nordstrom or a speciality lingerie shop (and do not go to VS!).0

Mine aren't going any where even after losing 111 pounds. I started out a 42 DDD and I am now a 32DD. Very frustrating and I am lifting heavy weights. My back hurts a LOT now that I don't have the large abdominal girth to hold them up. Just started a new job so surgery is out of the question for at least a year. I am with you!!!0

they look a great deal smaller in your after than your before pics. Have you taken measurements?
If you drop enough weight to have a BF under 20% they will go.0 -
What seems to be the issue here?
Thread title SHOULD read: WOOOOHOOOO, I lost 75 pounds and my Breasts are STILL HUGE.
Followed by pictures of those puppies.

I got a breast reduction 4 months ago, and it was the BEST thing i have ever done! No matter how much weight in the past that i lost, I just couldn't seem to loose the 38ddd's! so, after having a reduction, I am now a 40c/d. on top of it, my breast are so perky! it's a great feeling! i highly recommend a reduction! it's life altering!0

Ray from Everybody loves Ray was on Dave Lettermans show once and he said those were two words that never should be in the same sentence!! Brest and Reduction !!!0

Some women just won't lose there - I was a G cup at my highest & lowest weights. Finally decided to have a breast reduction, best thing I ever did!
Completely untrue. Some people lose there first, but it sounds like you and the OP are people who will lose there last. Once you get to a low enough bf%, they eventually shrink.
No. As I said - even at my lowest weight. I was skinny, didn't need to lose any fat. The doctor said my breasts were dense, mostly fibrous tissue.
are you under 20% BF?0 -
Since losing 25lbs, I've gone from a 40G to a 40H! TWO SIZES. At this rate, I'm going to fall over and never be able to get back up!
Are you eating any soy? Apparently this can have a big effect on breast growth due to the estrogen in it.0 -

doesn't make sense.
if nothing else your band size should have decreased after 25lbs.0 -

When I was at the bottom end of a healthy weight I had a big bust and nice hips/butt. Some of us are built that way.
If you're having dents, get a bra with wide straps and wide back made for busty women like us.
How tall are you?0 -
