Greek Yogurt and mixed nuts a good pre-workout meal?

I'm getting ready to leave work and head to the gym for an intense workout session. I'm feeling a little hungry. I'm hearing so many different things on what to eat before you work out. I just want something quick and easy. I was thinking Fat-free greek yogurt for the protein and maybe a small handful of mixed nuts (almonds & walnuts) for energy? What do you think??

IDK I normally never eat anything prior to working out....I train semi fasted and it works for me..

you might want to try that and see how it goes for you.

I wonder if the nuts might sit a bit heavy since they are usually less digestable. Maybe peanut butter instead? Not mixed with the yogurt, mind you.

I like bananas before a workout.

I would say this sounds like a better AFTER work out snack.

I usually have a banana before I head to the gym in the morning and then eat something protein rich when I get home.
