Hello, my family is being cut back another $200 a month. And I am training for another 13.1 Mile Marathon in September. What I am asking is fi my Gym Membership goes bye bye, is there any leg strenghting exercises out there? I though of weights for the legs, but my ankles are thicker the the normal persons being that I am 6 ft tall.

The best way to strengthen the legs for running is to do hill repetitions. Find a steep hill a 1/4 mile long and run fast to the top. Jog back down and repeat. Another drill is to run to the top with exagerated knee lift.
Do this once or twice a week and your legs will build the strength needed Fro a great race.0
