Please advise - diary

I'm having a hard time meeting my caloric goals with out going over my macros for fat or carbs. Can someone advise on where to make changes?

I believe my diary is open.

You have bigger problems. You aren't eating enough calories (assuming you filled in your info correctly).

Another issue for another day, sir. I am working on it. But it's not as easy to change bad habits, like undereating. And also, I want to increase my appetite slowly with healthy foods, so no dumping fat and sugar into my body to meet calorie goals.

Your protein goal seems crazy high. Of course it's fine to eat some solid protein, but I would think that especially considering your very low caloric intake, meeting that protein goal would be nearly impossible. There just aren't that many high protein, low calorie foods. Perhaps if you tried eating a bit more and readjusting your macros, you would have better luck?

to many prepackaged foods... cook more and you will meet your goals easier. take your salmon for example fresh or frozen salmon is 55calories per ounce and had way more protein the stuff you are eating

Maybe I mis-journaled that, but I cook 90% of my meals at home.

You have bigger problems. ^^^^this AND, your screen name is Beezelbub.

But seriously, Im not sure what your priorities are -I dont know if you are trying to gain weight (have been dealing with an eating disorder? based on the calories in? ) or if you are trying to lose weight.... or what. But I think you need to look at your overall percentages of how you are getting your calories . Your calorie goal and protein goal is super high but you hardly ate any protein? You can set your own percentages for Carbs, Proteins, and Fats daily on your MFP . I guess I'm not sure how best to help you at this point...

Also, if your aim is to reach your calorie goal of 1800, you don't necessarily have to eat a large volume of food. You could try choosing more calorie-dense options, like full fat cream cheese and mayo instead of low fat varieties. You could also try adding in other calorie-dense foods, like nuts, seeds, avocado, cheese, and peanut butter. That might help you get to your calorie goal without feeling like you're stuffing yourself full of food. As far as macros go, I believe the road map suggests 40-30-30 (40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat), but I'm sure there are lots of people who are better informed about that than I am.
