Night time over eating...

I have the hardest time staying on plan in the evening. This is when I tend to snack too much.
What are some of your tips and/or strategies to curb or eliminate night time over eating?

Brush your teeth. Nothing tastes good after that.
Don't watch TV if that is your trigger. It was mine.
Go to sleep. If you're asleep, you're not hungry.
I know it's hard. I'm starving right now! And all I want is to race downstairs and get some delicious banana nut bread that I made today! Looking forward to breakfast!

Now that I've increased my calories this is no longer an issue for me. I make sure I spread out my calories in a way that allows me to have a satisfying dinner and a few times a week I'll have a bit of a treat, too.
Also make sure that you're drinking enough water so that you don't confuse your thirst with water.0 -
I do this too. Lately I've been eating healthier evening snacks. Like a big bowl of berries with 2 tablespoons of whipped cream.
I find that if I eat more calories during the day and don't leave as many for at night, then I am fine. When I see that my app says I have 400 calories left at night, I just want to eat them all!0 -
i save 75% of my calories for night. i used to always get mad at myself for night eating until i stopped punishing myself and just set it up to where i eat most of them at night. it works for meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee0

I made a goal NOT to eat after 7pm. Nice goal and it works most of the time. I end up taking a bath around 6:30 pm, getting into bed and reading until around 8 and watch TV until 10. Then I am asleep and did not eat!! What I hate is if I start to eat, I binge. Wish I could just eat a planned amount but this always turns into a binge so... I have to not eat all together.0

Night time is when I unwind after the chaos of my work day and making sure kids have gotten to practices, done homework..yadda yadda yadda. So I make sure I reserve calories to treat myself to something. It may be a glass of merlot, some nuts, a quest bar or quite simply a cup of tea (zero calories). Don't beat yourself up just make the adjustments that work for you.0

planning, breaking my calories up into blocks/meals/snacks. I eat 6 to 7 times a day with a variety of things that will fit into my calorie count. I'm not a huge breakfast person so my breakfast may not be until 10 or 11 am after I've already been at work for 3 or 4 hours and I'll have 4 of 7 meals/snacks in the evening.0
