Share Your Snacks!

I'm a complete nightmare for snacking in the afternoons, and need some inspiration on healthy and low calorie snacks to munch on (instead of crisps!).

I've taken to devouring my own weight in these lovelies:

and even

So what do you turn to when you have a bad case of the munchies?

    All 200 calories or fewer:

Slice of toast with a tablespoon of peanut butter

Half cup of cottage cheese with fruit

Greek yogurt (Chobani pineapple is my favorite--skip the Chobani Bites though. They...bite.)

Ounce of nuts (Current fave: Emerald Peanut Butter & Jelly, 140 cals/ounce)

Bagel thin with cream cheese, or with Philadelphia Indulgence

Special K Savory Herb crackers with Laughing Cow cheese

Hummus with pretzel thins and/or baby carrots

Chips and salsa (you get more chips if you go with baked)

They are MY snacks. I planned them, bought them, and logged them. You're not getting any... so stay away!

Make me eat less, then try to make me share my snacks. err.

Big fan of the carrot batons too, but am also prone to munching on:

    - mini Babybels
    - bananas with a splodge of peanut butter
    - Muller light yoghurts (I don't normally do 'low-fat', but I have big Kahuna full fat Greek yoghurt for brekkie and sustain myself on the lighter ones throughout the day)
    - dried fruit
    - Propercorn

    Lets see..

    Fruit and a cheese stick
Greek yogurt and a tablespoon of granola mixed in
Sometimes a Kashi cookie and some skim milk
Sometimes two scoops of a lite ice cream
Peanut butter on an english muffin
    Dark Chocolate

I find that by having a small snack between meals I seldom if ever find myself actually hungry. I will eat more at meal or snack time if I'm hungry, oddly enough.
