Cranberry, almond, sunflower seed granola:
4 cups of rolled oats
1 cup of slivered or chopped almonds
1 cup of sunflower seeds (shelled)
1.5 cup craisins (or any dried fruit)
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup oil (I plan to reduce this amount in my next batch to 1/4 cup and take it from there)
2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp cinnamon
Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine all wet ingredients in a separate bowl and mix well. Then pour the wet into the dry. Place on 2 cookie sheets and put into 300 degrees oven for 10 minutes. Take out, flip the granola and place back in oven for 10 more minutes. Take granola out of oven (will be slightly wet still) and allow to cool off completely (it will be dry when cooled off). Put your granola in an air tight container or large ziplock bag. This will make roughly 8 cups of granola.

Thank you! Recently my college-aged son announced that he's eating granola and yogurt everyday, so this will be great to try when he's home for the summer.0

I couldn't find Suzie's so I entered all the ingredients and figuring about a 1/2 cup serving, it's 400 calories.0
